Howdy!
Thank you for your interest in the
Anvil and El Rancho Motels and the Bunkhouse,
Jackson's Own Hostel, in beautiful, although sometimes chilly,
Jackson Hole, Wyoming, just one boardwalk block north of the
Town Square.
Our location is tops, within
easy walking distance of many wonderful restaurants, theaters,
gift shops, fine clothing and jewelry stores, and the nightly,
live entertainment at some of our famous 'watering holes'. The
START bus pick-up is conveniently located in front of the
office, affording you easy access around town and to both of Jackson's Ski
Resorts. Bus service is also available to Grand Targhee
Resort, a popular, mostly intermediate, powder, powder,
powder, change-of-pace ski hill about 1.5 hours from town.
Al and I think that you will be very pleased if you choose to
stay with us.
The
Anvil Motel, is one of Jackson's nicest mid-priced motels,
and
sports a hot tub on the front deck -- a great place to soak
out the day's tired muscles while appreciating the fresh
mountain air and sights of downtown. All of the Anvil's rooms
are decorated with modern Western style pine furnishings, and
include microwave/refrigerator combos, in-room coffee, iron &
ironing boards, hair dryers, clock radios, tub showers, beige
sheets and towels, remote controlled Mitsubishi TVs w/HBO
cable, air conditioning, ski racks, table and chairs, and
telephones. We also have an upgraded 2-room Jacuzzi Suite, and
a two bedroom-two bath family suite accommodating up to 6
people. Both also include a VCR.
The
El Rancho Motel, gives you the opportunity to choose from
two very different room types.
This section which has basic rooms with one double bed and
stall showers has been kept remodeled, clean and comfortable
-- and, it's been
'a favorite of cowboys since 1947'. All these rooms have remote
control TVs and telephones.
The
larger rooms have two
queen size beds with Western Pine
furnishings, in-room coffee, microwave/refrigerators, irons & ironing boards,
clock radios, hair dryers and tub showers. The El Rancho Motel is
located behind the Anvil, is the home of
Nani's Genuine Pasta House and is
just across the street from the
Jackson Hole
Hat Company, the best place in the country to buy handmade
cowboy hats (and you'll love Marilyn).
The Bunkhouse, Jackson's Own
Hostel
is a great place for the individual skier, bicyclist,
backpacker or super economy traveler who enjoys dormitory
style accommodations in exchange for the opportunity of
meeting and sharing an evening with new friends. The Bunkhouse
has a total of 5000 sq. ft. including a ski locker/waxing
room, a large lounge with cable TV, HBO, a kitchen with
microwave and refrigerator, a washer/dryer, men and women's
showers and restrooms and a large sleeping area containing 25
semi-private bunk beds each with a 3x3x4 locker, linen &
towels. Other than for groups of 6 or more, bunks are
available on a first-come, first-serve basis & there is no
limit on the number of nights you are permitted
to stay. Just e-mail us at
bunkhouse@wyoming.com
or call to be sure we do not have a large group filling
the Bunkhouse on the night you'd like to have a space.
Our staff is well acquainted
with the beauty of this country called Jackson Hole and are
pleased when they are able to help our guests tailor their
precious vacation time to meet their expectations. When you
call for reservations or when you check in, please feel free
to ask them to help you with your other activities. Just
remember, when you stay with the Anvil, El Rancho or
Bunkhouse, 'You're a Stranger Here But Once.'
And, while in town, be sure to
make a reservation for Nani's Genuine Pasta House, a
wonderful, cozy, gourmet Italian restaurant located on the El
Rancho Motel property. This is the finest dining that you will
find in Jackson Hole. Our chef demands only fresh, authentic
and imported ingredients enabling us to present our customers
with that which is equaled only in Italy. Each month the menu
items and specials reflect the foods of a different region of
Italy along with a Classic Menu of Italy's favorites. If you
are looking for fine dining in an Old Country atmosphere,
Nani's is the place to find. Reservations can be made by
calling 307.733-3888, visiting Nani's web site at
http://www.nanis.com,
or e-mail nanis@wyoming.com. Check out Nani's monthly menu
on the web.
